"Drop-off was more stressful than it needed to be"
I was already feeling mentally drained from the trip, and the strict drop-off spot just made it more frustrating. It wasn’t very flexible at all, so figuring it out ended up being way more annoying than I expected.

"Pretty useful, but the app can be frustrating"
I’ve used poparide a few times and it does work, I guess, since I was able to find rides in the end. But the app itself feels kind of clunky. The search filters seemed to reset randomly on me, and messages were slow to load, which got annoying fast. It’s not unusable or anything, but it definitely felt more frustrating than it probably needs to be.
"Felt Ignored While Trying to Verify My Profile"
I tried to verify my profile and it just kept failing without any clear explanation. I uploaded everything they asked for, waited around, and still couldn’t use my account properly. When I reached out to support, the replies were slow and didn’t really help, like no one was actually paying attention to the issue. It got really frustrating, and after wasting way too much time on it, I just gave up.

"Not reliable enough"
It just hasn’t been reliable enough for me. I also got transferred around when I tried to get help, which was frustrating and made the whole experience feel even more annoying.

I’ve used poparide a bit, but the review system has started to make me trust the platform less. A lot of the reviews feel really vague, and there isn’t enough detail to help you figure out what the driver or passenger is actually like before booking. For something like ridesharing, I want to feel like I can make a safe, informed choice, but the way it’s set up now just feels too basic. After reading a few empty reviews, I’m left second-guessing things instead of feeling reassured.

"Refund Took Longer Than I’m Used To"
The payment went through without any issues, but the refund took longer than I personally expected. I’ve had refunds from other places come through a bit quicker, so this felt a little stressful while I was waiting. Support did get back to me, just not as fast as I would’ve liked. It all worked out in the end, but the process could’ve been smoother

I've used Poparide a few times now, the prices are usually fair compared to taking the bus or train. Some rides can be a bit more expensive on busy days, but, I guess that’s kind of expected. Overall, it’s a good value, and makes it easy to split travel costs. I’m taking off one star, though, because the fees can add up sometimes.

The notifications have been really reliable for me. Ride changes and messages pop up right away, and I haven’t missed anything so far. At this point, if I do miss one, I’d probably have to blame myself for not checking my phone.

"Almost Missed My Bus"
I had a bus to catch that morning, so I booked the ride with what I thought was enough time. The driver ended up showing up about 35 minutes late, and by the time we finally got going, I was seriously stressing that I’d miss my bus. I barely made it, but the whole experience was way too nerve-wracking. I don’t think I’ll be using this again.

"Support was actually really helpful"
I had a small issue with my booking and wasn’t totally sure what to do, so I ended up messaging support. My sister was with me at the time and we both expected it to take forever, but they got back to me way quicker than I thought. They fixed everything without making it a whole complicated thing, and it felt like an actual person read what I wrote. Happy with how it all turned out.

"Frustrating last-minute cancellation"
I’m probably a bit biased because last-minute cancellations really bother me, but this was super frustrating. They cancelled on me at the last minute, and then the refund took way longer than it should have. Not a great experience overall.

It’s just been more trouble than it’s worth. Drivers keep canceling at the last minute, which is super frustrating when you’re already waiting. And when you reach out to support, they don’t really do much to help. Wouldn’t recommend if you need something reliable.

The ride itself was ok, no big problem there. But the messages were slow and not that clear, so I had to ask twice about the pickup details. It was kinda annoying and made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be

"Pickup spot was really unclear"
so... my experience with the pickup location on poparide wasn’t great.
The spot wasn’t clear enough, and I was basically guessing where I was supposed to stand. I had to message the driver and wait around, which made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be.
I think it would be way better if the app showed exact pickup points instead of just giving a vague area.

"Pretty Reliable Overall"
Most passengers showed up on time, and the one person who was a little late let me know beforehand, which I appreciated. Compared to some other rides I’ve done where people just keep you waiting with no update, this was a smooth and reliable experience overall

"Luggage space ended up being a headache"
I used Poparide for a weekend trip and overall the ride was fine, like the driver was nice enough and we got there on time, but the luggage situation was frustrating. The app made it seem like there would be space, then the driver showed up with the trunk already half full, and I was kind of just standing there like… okay, where is my bag supposed to go?
I ended up keeping my bag on my lap for most of the ride, which wasn’t a disaster, but it definitely got annoying after a while. Also, for a weekend trip you’re obviously going to have luggage, so I feel like that should be way clearer before booking. The ride itself wasn’t bad, but that part made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be

"Not the best first impression"
My first impression wasn’t great. The seats were uncomfortable pretty much right away, and the whole ride felt way too cramped. I kept hoping I’d settle in and get used to it, but it just never felt comfortable...

Got where I needed to go safely, which is the main thing. I remember thinking halfway through the ride that traffic could’ve been worse, but it was all smooth. Anyway, simple trip, felt comfortable, and I appreciated it. Thanks!

"Booking a ride was way more annoying than it should be"
I tried booking a ride and honestly , the whole thing was just frustrating . There were too many steps , the screens were kind of confusing , and it didn’t even save my info properly . It ended up taking way longer than I expected , so I don’t think I’ll be using it again
